Susan Caples

Originally from Philadelphia, I have enjoyed living in our little piece of paradise, Amelia Island, for 37 years. I have felt like a natural born healer my entire life which makes sense of my steady progression in serving family, friends, our community, and visitors to the island. With a background that includes Physical Education, Health, Recreation, and the Hospitality industries, enrolling in Massage Therapy School at Florida State College of Jacksonville was an easy and natural decision. It was a very positive experience and I am thankful for the critical knowledge and experience that I gained.

Blending massage techniques with my knowledge of Reiki, meditation, and breath work has created a diversified pathway to benefit our massage therapy clients while encouraging personal and professional growth for me. Having always had a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of people whom I’ve encountered all along the way, I spent many years researching the interconnecting body-mind-spirit complex. I have discovered first-hand that massage therapy brings relief from physical pain by targeting specific problem areas. Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage, two of my favorite modalities, use techniques that will make a big difference in how your body moves and performs. Being a high energy therapist who enjoys helping clients to meet their goals, it has been rewarding to see and feel the positive results.

My philosophy is that in working together, you can become liberated from restrictions and constraints that result from poor postural habits, emotional stress, injury, muscular imbalance, and other factors. I strive to support the healing process and return your mental, physical, emotional, and energetic body back to the original aligned state of ease and free movement so that you can be more present in your life. With a mindful purpose, together we can facilitate your restoration to balance and well-being in an atmosphere that promotes enlightenment, peace, joy, and serenity.
