Born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in South Carolina, I am a southern girl through and through. I answer to “yʼall have any appointment openings today?” with “yessir” and “yesʼm” and enjoy meeting our new clients who come from all walks of life and from all over the country. Amelia Island draws very interesting people to us which makes my ‘workʼ even more fun and interesting. I guess you could say I never met a stranger.
Going back to my choice to put my heart, my hands and my spirit to work professionally, I really had no idea how much I would love massage therapy until I attended Heritage Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduation in 2013, I was hired by a well known and respected Chiropractor in Fernandina Beach. It was there that I gained invaluable experience and became passionate about helping people.
Being instrumental in making a positive impact on peopleʼs day to day lives has afforded me a very worthwhile and rewarding career where I see and feel clientsʼ bodies begin to change and heal.
I often say to myself: “I love what I do. How lucky I am!” My favorite modalities are Foot Reflexology and Deep Tissue. Our feet are our foundation and suffer abuse every single day. Deep Tissue massage is very corrective for the acute and chronic pain that we as therapists treat very effectively all day long.
I enjoy being a part of the Amelia Massage Associates team and the camaraderie we feel as we work together to be the best that we can be.
I look forward to working with our clients and encourage anyone who has not experienced the benefits of massage therapy to come see me.
